Kobalt designs the new Sistag appearance

Sistag, an internationally active company, has commissioned Kobalt to develop a brand strategy. The process began with a study by the Lucerne University of Applied Sciences and Arts, which recommended joining forces and presenting a unified image worldwide.

The background to this was that the company appeared in German-speaking countries with Sistag, while the Wey brand name dominated in exports. Thus, the name Wey was given more weight without the company name Sistag disappearing. This took into account the brand assets as well as the traditional values, the agency wrote in a statement on Wednesday.

In this context, the agency has given the Wey logo a complete redesign. The colors black and red are intended to give the brand a self-confident character and testify to strength. The Wey lettering was redeveloped. According to the agency, the Swiss origin is of particular importance and is appropriately acknowledged in the logo with the Swiss cross and the expression "Swiss Performance".

The visual world used by Sistag up to now was very product-focused. The visual appearance was therefore to be elevated to a new level that would also do justice to the innovative and quality-conscious company. According to the agency, new messages such as flexibility, safety and durability were to be reflected in the visual world. The basis for this were Wey products in an unconventional context. This new imagery is used in a wide variety of advertising materials.
