Museum of Communication: Annual Report 2011

The Museum of Communication can look back on a successful 2011. It welcomed a total of 60,860 visitors in 2011.

In 2010, there were 69,511 visitors and 58,031 the year before. Thus, in 2011, an above-average result was achieved in a multi-year comparison, according to a statement by the museum. Both the temporary exhibitions "Wo bisch?", "Handy macht mobil" and "Warnung: Kommunizieren gefährdet." as well as the three permanent exhibitions "nah und fern: People and their Media," "As Time Goes Byte: Computers and Digital Culture," and "Images that Stick: World of Stamps" met with great interest from the public. In addition to the successful temporary exhibitions, the continuing popular permanent exhibitions contributed to the good audience result.
