New Head of Human Resources Microsoft Switzerland
Microsoft Switzerland has appointed Nicole Gassler Schwengeler as its new Head of Human Resources. She succeeds René Villiger, who assumed responsibility for human resources at Microsoft Central and Eastern Europe at the end of 2011.
Nicole Gassler Schwengeler has been working as Head of Recruitment at Microsoft Switzerland since January 2012 and will be part of the Executive Board of Microsoft Switzerland in her role as Head of Human Resources. She will take up her post on July 1, 2012. Microsoft wrote this in a statement on Monday.
Nicole Gassler Schwengeler holds a Master's degree in HR Management and held various management positions at IBM before joining Microsoft Switzerland. Among other things, she was HR Leader IT Delivery for Central and Eastern Europe, the Middle East and the Alps as well as Recruiting Leader for IBM Switzerland and Austria. In her new role as Head of HR Microsoft Switzerland, she reports directly to Frank Abbenhujis, HR Director at Microsoft Western Europe.
