Radio 32: Martin Ackle becomes head of moderation

Martin Ackle will become the new head of programming at Radio 32. In this role, the team of hosts and the music department will report directly to him.

The 45-year-old's responsibilities also include e-communication and broadcast and music planning for Radio 32 Goldies. On May 2, 2012, he will succeed Andy Studer, who is leaving the station after five years of service. In the Goldies division, he replaces longtime employee André Hess.

Martin Ackle already worked at Radio 32 from 1992 to 2006 as head of music, program manager Goldies and presenter. He then worked for four years as music editor and team leader at DRS 1. Last year, as music day manager, he took over, together with Gernot Jörgler, the journalistic management of the new SRF specialist music editorial team for DRS 1 and DRS 3. The editors of the evening specials on these two programs reported to Martin Ackle.
