Last but not least: Hardcore violation of human rights
The self-proclaimed "pop titan" Dieter Bohlen is suing Germany—specifically, before the European Court of Human Rights. The case centers on a very, very offensive Lucky Strike ad campaign.
The subject alludes to Bohlen's book "Behind the Scenes". In it, countless passages had to be blacked out because various celebrities had filed lawsuits. He knows how to have fun, Bohlen told Image. But as a non-smoker, he would stop smoking if a tobacco company advertised at his expense. The music producer therefore took action against the billboard advertising without further ado - he won at the regional court and the higher regional court, but the Federal Court of Justice stupidly overturned the ruling. The poor man now has no choice but to take his case to the European Court of Human Rights.
If everyone who feels that their human rights have been violated by Bohlen - who is not exactly known for his squeamish treatment of his fellow human beings - were to file a complaint with the Court of Human Rights, the judges there would probably no longer have time for the things they are actually responsible for - namely true human rights.
