Goldbach Awards 2012: Shortlist

On the occasion of the main judging on April 19, 2012, the two independent expert juries headed by jury presidents Marco Taborelli (Crossmedia category) and Leila Summa (Social Media category) determined the shortlists from this year's Goldbach Award.

From a total of 41 entries in the Crossmedia category, eight were nominated for the shortlist (in alphabetical order):

• Heks - Give the gift of help, Heks, Advico Young & Rubicam
• Ikea - Opening Rothenburg, Ikea Switzerland, Wirz advertising
• Church gamble, Reformed Church of Aargau, Wirz advertising
• Lenzerheide Wetterböcke, Lenzerheide/Graubünden Ferien, Jung von Matt/Limmat
• M-Budget WG - Remote controlled, Migros-Genossenschafts-Bund, Jung von Matt/Limmat
• Rivella conquers northern Germany, Rivella International AG, Jung von Matt/Limmat
• Swisscom - Xtreme Showdowns, Swisscom AG, Jung von Matt/Limmat
• Terra Chips, Bischofszell Nahrungsmittel AG, Wirz Advertising

In the social media category, six of the 14 entries made it onto the shortlist:

• Anna's Best App, Federation of Migros Cooperatives, Serranetga
• DeinDeal - SocialCircle, DeinDeal.ch
• Obermutten, Graubünden Holidays, Jung von Matt/Limmat
• Ricola Cinema - Unveil the Ricola secret!, Ricola, Webguerillas
• Vacations without Internet, Switzerland Tourism, Spillmann/Felser/Leo Burnett
• Zweifel Snacketti Onion Rings, Zweifel Pomy-Chips, Advico Young & Rubicam

As of now, all shortlisted works can be viewed at Goldbachaward.ch and make a guess as to which campaigns will receive the Goldbach Award in 2012. All participants who guess correctly will be entered into a draw to win an "Asus Eee Pad Transformer" worth CHF 599.

The winner will be revealed on May 10, 2012 at the Goldbach Award Night at Kaufleuten in Zurich. The award ceremony will be hosted by Melanie Winiger.
