Mobile Internet and apps: Blick has the lead
Blick leads the way in the use of mobile websites and apps, followed by Bluewin and Tages-Anzeiger. This is shown by the first survey conducted by the research institute Net-Metrix for March 2012.
According to the study, Blick online's mobile site was used by 464,000 unique clients (number of devices). The site recorded almost 5.4 million individual visits and 83.5 million page impressions.
The Bluewin mobile site and the Tages-Anzeiger apps follow in second and third place in terms of the number of devices. Many customers use services such as the Internet TV provider Zattoo or the appointment platform Doodle. Among the media, NZZ online and Le Matin mobile are very popular with users.
In terms of the number of individual visits, the same trio is in the same order at the top of the customer favorites. In terms of the number of page views, however, Blick and Tages-Anzeiger are clearly ahead of their competitor Bluewin.
According to Net-Metrix, the mobile publication is based on a standard measurement and is therefore based on the widely accepted web statistics in the Swiss market. Net-Metrix describes itself as an independent authority for Internet usage research. As an industry organization, it collects measurement data for its customers. (SDA)
