Speck Print with new managing director
The current owner, Joseph Speck, is selling the Speck Print printing company to Markus Kramer, who will take over operational management. During a transitional period, Speck will continue to serve as chairman of the board of directors.
According to a press release issued on Wednesday, Joseph Speck's overriding goal in the succession plan was to ensure the continued independent existence of the traditional company. He is not only handing over a very healthy company to the future owner Markus Kramer, but above all a highly motivated and professional team. The previous Managing Director Werner Semmler, who will continue to put his passion for printing and his network of contacts at the service of the company, will guarantee continuity in the further development of the company.
The 45-year-old Markus Kramer has many years of management experience in the graphic arts industry and most recently managed a large sheet-fed offset printing company, according to the press release. Comprehensive sales and marketing training and his experience in company management characterize his understanding of providing customer-oriented and market-driven services.
Speck Medien, publisher of the Official Gazette of the Canton of Zug, remains in the sole ownership of Joseph Speck. The management of Speck Medien AG is now in the hands of Oguz Öztürk, the long-standing publishing director there. The Official Gazette of the Canton of Zug will continue to be printed by Speck Print in Baar.
