Ex-UBS media spokesman founds PR agency
Axel Langer, the former UBS media spokesperson, is starting his own business as a PR and communications consultant. He served as media spokesperson for UBS in Zurich and Basel from 2000 to 2008.
Langer Public Relations, based in Freiburg/Germany, will focus on companies and financial institutions in German-speaking Switzerland and Baden-Württemberg. In addition, human resources communication - i.e. external communication of personnel issues, internal communication with employees and personnel marketing - is Langer Public Relations' third area of activity.
Before his time at the major bank, Langer was press spokesman for the Association of the Metal and Electrical Industry in Baden-Württemberg. Langer left UBS during the financial crisis in 2008 to take a sabbatical.
