Last but not least: Bernese overtake eastern Swiss
The online dating agency Parship likes to conduct surveys on all possible and impossible topics. At the moment, it's once again the turn of the Swiss to be asked about their satisfaction.
When it comes to finding topics for surveys, those responsible at Parship are not lacking in imagination. For example, the partner agency wanted to know, what are the preferences and priorities of men when choosing a partner, whether there is a Röschtigraben with regard to being single, and how much mankind costs in the search for the ideal partner - in a country comparison, mind you. The latest Parship coup: the satisfaction of the Swiss population today compared to a year ago. The results at a glance:
Whereas last year the happiest people lived in eastern Switzerland, it is now the people of Bern (90 percent), Zurich (86 percent) and Central Switzerland (84 percent) who top the satisfaction scale. In French-speaking Switzerland, satisfaction with the individual factors differed only slightly from the previous year, with two exceptions: only 16 percent of the people in French-speaking Switzerland are "very satisfied" with their job (previous year: 21 percent), but their satisfaction with leisure activities increased even more significantly (from 15 to 27 percent).
In contrast to the other regions, where satisfaction in some areas of life has risen markedly, the values for eastern Swiss remained the same only for partnership and sexuality ("very satisfied" 49 and 28 percent respectively). In all other areas, the eastern Swiss were less happy than last year. Satisfaction has risen most strongly among Zurich residents. Last year, these were still below the national satisfaction average - now all values, except for the housing situation and partnership, have improved, especially satisfaction with the family (from 33 to 44 percent), the circle of friends (from 33 to 40 percent), the job (from 26 to 31 percent) and the financial situation (from 17 to 24 percent).
This will certainly not be the last time that the partner agency puts the population under the microscope with one of its legendary surveys. And Werbewoche.ch will report on it again. Promised.
