Deutsche Bank and ZHDK launch art project

Deutsche Bank in Switzerland is launching the art project "17Zwei" with the Zurich University of the Arts (ZHDK) on March 2, 2012.

In an area rented from the bank under Zurich's Hardbrücke bridge, 17 meters long and two meters high, changing works of art by students on the Master Fine Arts course at ZHdK will be exhibited every six weeks throughout 2012. The works will be selected by an independent jury consisting of Christoph Doswald (curator and head of the City of Zurich's Art in Public Space working group), Peter Kilchmann (gallery owner) and Shirana Shabazi (artist).

Marco Bizzozero, CEO of Deutsche Bank (Switzerland) and Head of Private Wealth Management for Emea (Europe, Middle East and Africa): "Supporting young artists has been part of Deutsche Bank's mission for over 30 years. At the same time, with 17Zwei we are helping to shape the neighborhood around the new Prime Tower. We feel particularly committed to our new neighborhood and want to express this with 17Zwei."
