Last but not least: The world needs more women's restrooms
The women among you will know the problem: You have to go for a quick pee, but short turns into long: because the queue in front of the ladies' toilet is so long that you seriously consider going behind the nearest tree. Passers-by or not.
Or you could consider using the men's room. Because there is no sign of a queue for miles around. But the urinals are usually demonstratively placed right by the entrance, so that women hardly have a chance of reaching the toilets without seeing and hearing things that they would rather not see or hear. Unless, of course, your own perception is already somewhat clouded by a few pints of beer. Then it works.
According to Welt.de, a broad-based protest is now forming in China against this untenable situation. A group of female students has called for the men's toilets in the country to be occupied in order to finally solve the urgent problem of queues in front of the women's toilets. The group occupied a men's toilet in the public Yuexiu Park in Guangzhou, handed out leaflets and explained to the surprised toilet users the anatomical differences that simply take more time for women. And it seems that the campaign reflects the general female mood in China. Women from other cities also want to take part in the campaign. The Werbewoche online editorial team supports this campaign and is considering bringing it to Europe.
