Last but not least: Watch out, woman at the wheel!

Women have a reputation for not necessarily being queens when it comes to parking. Now they have the unique opportunity to fight against this evil prejudice.

Last year, the Women Parking Challenge took place in Switzerland for the first time. According to a press release, the participants in Bern proved that they can park at least as well as men. Now the somewhat different championship is taking place again - this time in Zurich. On Saturday, March 17, from 10 a.m. on the Kalanderplatz in front of the Sihlcity shopping mall, the participants will have to demonstrate their dexterity and speed.

The task is to steer the Mercedes-Benz SLK Roadster backwards into a parking space as well as possible. The difficulty here is that the parking space is between two vans parked to the side. The participants will be scrutinized by a "competent jury": successful motorcycle racing pro Tom Lüthi and the somewhat successful presenter Claudia Lässer will keep an eye out for any parking mishaps.

The fastest and most precise "parker" will take home the Mercedes-Benz SLK Roadster as the main prize. Unfortunately, she doesn't get to keep it, but has to hand it in again at the end of September. It is not clear from the press release whether the winner will have to drive a dented and scratched sled if it turns out that one of her competitors has not mastered the art of parking quite as flawlessly as she has.
