Künzler Bachmann Medien becomes Kömedia
Künzler Bachmann, a company specializing in publishing and advertising marketing, is celebrating its 100th anniversary this year and is changing its name to Kömedia.
For owner Roland Köhler (photo), who joined the company in 1982 and took over the publishing house completely a year ago, the name change is an important milestone: "Kö stands for me as the owner. Media stands for what we do. Together with my dedicated team, I am building our future on the foundation of many successful years of growth and further development," he is quoted as saying in the press release. The new brand is also intended to express the dynamic performance development of recent years. Since the 1980s, over 20 new magazine mandates have been won and the company's own products innovated. Today, Kömedia publishes and manages six different yearbooks and seven Internet portals.
Apart from the name, nothing will change at the St. Gallen media and publishing house. Both the team and the focus on the two core areas of advertising and publishing marketing for old and new media will remain the same.
