"Schweiz aktuell" seeks water-tested people for summer project
«Schweiz aktuell» is looking for water-savvy men and women for a television documentary—people who want to embark on an adventurous water journey through Switzerland. The «Schweiz aktuell» summer project, "Water," will take place in July 2012.
In the coming summer, "Schweiz aktuell" will once again realize a thematic focus, this time on the topic of water. According to a statement, the editorial team of "Schweiz aktuell" is looking for people who want to experience a unique water adventure for this television project: a three-week journey by water across Switzerland. "Schweiz aktuell" will accompany and document the adventurous journey. Presenter Michael Weinmann reports live every day from the various locations along the route and provides detailed coverage of the water journey. "We want the audience to experience first-hand how the water adventurers manage their journey through Switzerland's diverse landscapes," says editorial director Daniel Pünter.
The water journey joins the long-standing tradition of "Schweiz aktuell" summer projects. After the shows "Sahlenweidli," "Die Pfahlbauer von Pfyn" and "Die Hüttenbauer," it continues with a water journey through Switzerland. For the first time, the elaborate broadcast will not be produced at a stationary location, but at a different place each day, along lakes, rivers and streams.
The deadline for applications is February 3, 2012. Application forms and further information are available at Switzerlandnews.sf.tv can be called up. The editorial team evaluates the written applications and then invites a selection to a casting.
