Zurich monthly newspaper Dieperspektive copies 20 Minuten
The latest issue of the monthly newspaper Dieperspektive was distributed in Zurich last Friday. With this issue, Dieperspektive copies the newspaper with the highest circulation in Switzerland: 20 Minuten.
With the identical layout and the increased circulation of 7,000 copies, the three editors want to "draw attention to the copy & paste problem, which unfortunately seems to have become part of the zeitgeist in the recent past", according to a press release from the editorial team. The cover story "New Google Livingview watches you shower" is intended to copy the style of the commuter newspaper. Because of the plagiarism, 20 Minuten filed a criminal complaint.
