Capital FM completes relaunch with new weekend programming

From Saturday, November 5, 2011, the radio station Capital FM starts with numerous new programs for the weekend. The Sunday program will also begin as early as 7 a.m. with the first news and service features.

Capital FM is reorganizing and expanding its weekend programming. On Sunday, the first news will now be broadcast as early as 7 a.m., three hours earlier than before, the station said in a statement Thursday. Sunday morning will be expanded with two additional regional weather talks with weather specialists from Meteonews and two sports studios with reviews of the previous evening's events.

Much entertainment gives on Sunday mornings, so the transmitter further. In the program "Wunschtroum", for example, long-cherished wishes of listeners are to be fulfilled. To astonishment, smiling and laughter the Rotzlöffu will give cause. In his show, 7-year-old Noah does telephone interviews with Swiss celebrities and doesn't mince his words.

Sunday afternoon focuses on interaction with listeners. In the two-hour program "Di Song - Di Sunnti," listeners can choose their favorite song, reveal their story about it and tell about "their" Sunday. The music program "Wop Bop A Loo Bop" gets a new broadcasting slot. Instead of Sunday afternoon, it will now be broadcast on Sunday evening from 7 to 10 pm.

Capital FM completes its program relaunch by revamping its weekend programming. This started in April with a new music mix and at the beginning of September with a new morning show, new news and entertainment segments and new jingles and signets. The station aims to position itself as a regional radio station for an adult listenership in the city and region of Bern.
