The 32nd flap has been announced

"Die Klappe" is entering its 32nd edition. The call for entries for "Die Klappe" 2012 begins on September 29, 2011.

This year, the submission categories have been significantly equalized. Five categories remained, including young talent. The sub-categories have been structured in such a way that it is no longer necessary to compare cars with furniture, says Katharina Stinnes, Managing Director of the Communications Association in Hamburg.

Deutsche Bahn and Ströer Infoscreen are supporting the young talent project for advertising films in 2012. Ströer is providing the media services for the publication of the young talent spots on the "Out-of-Home Channel". The digital screens are part of Ströer's new nationwide moving image network at the 200 most frequented train stations in Germany. Unilever is back with the BiFi brand, which already sponsored a newcomer spot in 2011.

The call for entries for Klappe 2012 will begin on September 29, 2011. Films can be submitted if they were made between March 1, 2011 and January 31, 2012 and have been shown publicly at least once. The award ceremony will take place on March 1, 2012 in Hamburg at the Museum für Kunst und Gewerbe with the support of the Free and Hanseatic City of Hamburg.

The communications association has consistently maintained its role as a neutral platform for the orientation of all market participants over many years, the association said in a press release. The Klappe is therefore also an important competition for film in German-speaking countries. The Klappe is both a motivation and an obligation to maintain this standard and to be available to clients and service providers in the film industry as a partner for proactive exchange. The communications association has around 1,000 members spread across 18 clubs in 15 federal states. The association offers its members services such as contractual and legal advice, further training to become a 360° communications consultant and, for example, a depository for the protection of copyrights. The communications association also organizes interdisciplinary creative competitions such as the Klappe, the BOB Best of Business-to-Business Communication Award and the BtoB Photo Award GoldenEye.
