Euro RSCG Zurich: Winterthur is the best Zurich has to offer
The agency Euro RSCG Zurich has realized a campaign for the city of Winterthur. Prominent Winterthur residents such as Victor Giaccobo and Bruno Gehrig are involved.
It is the sixth largest city in Switzerland, attracts visitors with over 1,000 cultural and leisure activities every year, has fantastic educational opportunities, is close to the airport and can claim that its residents are the happiest in the country. No wonder that the city of Winterthur does not have to shy away from comparison with its big sister Zurich in its advertising campaign. Euro RSCG Zurich thought so too and convinced the pitch with a tongue-in-cheek idea: Winterthur is simply the best that Zurich has to offer.
With the involvement of prominent Winterthur residents such as Victor Giaccobo and Bruno Gehrig, several poster motifs were created, two of which can now be seen in German-speaking Switzerland. In addition, electronic advertising boards as well as smaller measures such as carrier bags and vehicle lettering are being used - always with the aim of getting the Swiss people excited about their next visit to Winterthur.
In addition, the campaign launch was celebrated with a colorful Big Bang. At the press conference on September 6, Winterthur released over 1,000 balloons with a postcard into the air. Anyone in Switzerland or even the neighboring countries who then finds the "Beautiful greeting from Winterthur" can also win a short trip to the exciting city of culture in the SMS competition linked to it.
