Stocks: Peter Hody becomes new editor-in-chief
The Swiss investor magazine Stocks has a new editorial director: Peter Hody has been appointed Editor-in-Chief and will take up his new post on December 1, 2011 at the latest.
The 43-year-old will succeed Volker Strohm, who has been responsible for the content and strategic development of the online presences of Bilanz, Handelszeitung and Stocks as Editor-in-Chief of "Schweizer Wirtschaftsnetz" since September 1, 2011. Strohm will also remain Editor-in-Chief of Stocks until Hody takes up his post, according to a statement from Axel Springer Switzerland.
After graduating from high school in Ohio, Peter Hody studied history at the universities of Zurich and La Réunion before turning to business journalism. After holding various positions - including at the Handelszeitung, Associated Press and AWP - Hody joined Cash in 2007, where he is still deputy editor-in-chief today. He completed his Executive MBA in Media Management in 2011.
Stocks is published fortnightly, has a certified circulation of 22,113 copies and reaches 63,000 readers.
