The new cultural magazine *La Couleur des jours* is published four times a year
La Couleur des jours, a new cultural magazine from French-speaking Switzerland, goes on sale on Thursday. It is scheduled to be published four times a year and will feature work by journalists, photographers, writers, and artists.
The cover story of the first issue of The Color of Days It is dedicated to the writer Werner Renfer from the Bernese Jura, who died 75 years ago, as the editors announced on Wednesday, according to SDA. Contributors to the 48-page inaugural issue include the Vaud-based director Lionel Baier, the photographer and journalist Michel Bührer, and the director of the Cinémathèque Suisse, Frédéric Maire. The magazine’s creators are opting for a slower pace with longer articles and feature stories. 'Quick updates are the domain of the internet,” said graphic designer Pierre Lipschutz, the project’s initiator. The magazine is launching with a print run of 15,000 copies. According to Lipschutz’s estimates, 4,000 subscribers and regular newsstand sales are needed to ensure the magazine’s long-term viability.
