Last but not least: It really exists, the Axe Effect!

The Axe Effect—you know, that promise from the commercials that all men have to do is spray on the advertised deodorant, and women will be falling at their feet. Just a figment of advertising’s imagination? No, the Axe Effect really does exist!

According to a recent online survey by the Axe brand, a full 87 percent of all 16- to 28-year-olds are familiar with the ominous Axe Effect. Well, the fact that this target group is familiar with advertising slogans is hardly remarkable. But here's what's really astonishing: Almost one in three of the respondents has already experienced the effect themselves! As some study participants confirm, the male fragrance can even cost the female sex its mind: "The Axe effect just came over me. I no longer had myself under control and even minutes later did not know what had happened to me. Unbelievable!". Another comment, "When a man uses Axe, I have to keep smelling him and it's hard to stop." Apparently, the fragrance developers had the right nose there. But the marketing department also sees its work confirmed by the study. It shows that the Axe effect is established "as a synonym for the joker in the game of seduction. That's the way it has to be!
