Interpublic: Half of its Facebook shares sold
The American Interpublic Group of Companies IPG has sold half of its Facebook shares for 133 million dollars. IPG includes agency networks such as Lowe and McCann Erickson.
IPG invested in the social network very early on, in 2006. The company share is said to have been around 0.4 percent. In the meantime, the value of the investment at that time has multiplied, as The Guardian writes. The current deal values Facebook at 65 billion dollars.
