ARD wants more Swiss "Tatort" thrillers in its program
ARD plans to include more Swiss «Tatort» episodes featuring Inspector Reto Flückiger (Stefan Gubser) in its lineup, according to a spokesperson for the programming department in Munich who spoke to the German Press Agency (DPA).
Every single film is reviewed, but not the cooperation with Swiss Television (SF), said the spokesperson. The quality of each "Tatort" contribution is also discussed - whether German or Swiss. Switzerland wants to contribute two episodes per year, the next one will be filmed soon.
Even before, but also after the broadcast of "Tatort" with the title "Wunschdenken" last Sunday, there was a hail of criticism against the film. Stefan Gubser was said to be an out-of-contour inspector, the female lead Sofia Milos was miscast and the German dubbing for broadcasting outside Switzerland was poor. However, some German media also expressed neutral to positive opinions on the latest Swiss "Tatort". (SDA)
