Schweizer Wirtschaftsnetz: Volker Strohm becomes new Editor-in-Chief Online
The Swiss Business Network, the editorial alliance of the online editions of Bilanz, Handelszeitung, and Stocks, is getting a new editor-in-chief. Effective September 1, 2011, Volker Strohm will take over as head of the joint online editorial team.
The 43-year-old succeeds the previous editorial director Christian Schmid. Strohm is currently Editor-in-Chief of the investor magazine Socks, which he will continue to manage and be responsible for on an interim basis until a successor is appointed - in addition to his new role.
In April 2011, the online presences of the business titles Bilanz, Handelszeitung and Socks, published by Axel Springer Switzerland, moved closer together and jointly founded the Swiss Business Network. Since then, the editorial content of the media brand websites has been produced at the joint online newsdesk - seven days a week.
