SF: Eva Wannenmacher on the road for the new "Kulturplatz
At the end of August, the SF program "Kulturplatz" starts with a new concept. Each week, it will be recorded at a different venue of cultural events. The format is hosted by Eva Wannenmacher, who thus returns to "Kulturplatz.
Starting at the end of August, SF 1 will show "Kulturplatz" on Wednesdays directly after "10vor10. The program will highlight important cultural events of the week, especially in Switzerland, and report on the cultural scene and its background, on social debates as well as on cultural trends and new discoveries. The contributions are embedded in a moderation that takes place each week at a different venue of cultural creativity. According to Achim Podak, head of "Culture News and Background," the new concept is intended to make it possible for audiences to experience different cultural venues.
Eva Wannenmacher will report from the various Kulturplatz: "The new concept of 'Kulturplatz' has convinced me. It was my wish to no longer present in the studio and now this wish has come true." The previous "Kulturplatz" presenter Nicole Salathé will remain with the show and will continue as editor at her own request.
The first program will be broadcast on Wednesday, August 24, 2011, at 10:20 pm.
