Ringier Axel Springer Poland takes over Top Gear license in Poland
Ringier Axel Springer Poland has acquired the licensing rights to the Polish edition of the automotive magazine *Top Gear* from the British media company BBC Magazines. Starting in September 2011, the country’s second-most-important automotive magazine—after Auto Swiat (the Polish edition of Auto Bild)—will also be published by the Polish subsidiary of the joint venture between Ringier and Axel Springer.
The monthly magazine has been published since 2008 and presents the latest trends and news as well as information on technological innovations and unusual gadgets, as Axel Springer writes in a press release. The magazine has a paid circulation of 57,339 copies. Worldwide, 25 licensed editions of the magazine named after the BBC television format Top Gear are published, which is available in more than 50 countries.
