Ulrich Saxer becomes Honorary President of Publicom
The long-standing Chairman of the Board of Directors of Publicom, Ulrich Saxer, is stepping down from his position at the end of June in order to devote himself entirely to his scientific work. He will be succeeded by company founder and majority shareholder René Grossenbacher.
Ulrich Saxer remains Honorary Chairman for life. Saxer had been Chairman of the Board of Publicom since 1990. He is Professor Emeritus of Journalism at the Universities of Zurich and Lugano, Honorary Professor at the University of Vienna and former member of the Board of the Bertelsmann Foundation.
