Observer Nature: Peter Ackermann becomes new editorial director
The magazine *Beobachter Natur* is getting a new editor-in-chief: Peter Ackermann will take over as editor-in-chief in September 2011, succeeding Remo Leupin.
Peter Ackermann began his career ten years ago as a reporter for Annabelle. In 2002, he won the Zurich Journalism Prize for his report "Spurlos verschwunden. In 2008, the 40-year-old was awarded the Tamedia Promotion Prize for his conceptual work at the women's magazine. For the past two years, he has been deputy head of the reportage department.
Peter Ackermann succeeds Remo Leupin, who successfully established Beobachter Natur in the market after its launch last year, according to a statement. Leupin, is moving to the new Basel-based online and weekly newspaper.
