Axel Springer Switzerland: iKiosk app launches in Switzerland
Axel Springer continues its initiative to establish paid content for mobile devices and makes the iPad application iKiosk available in Switzerland.
Tablet PC users can use the iKiosk can now access digital editions of the newspapers and magazines Beobachter, Beobachter Natur, Bilanz, Handelszeitung, PME Magazine, Stocks and Tele published by Axel Springer Switzerland, as the company writes in a press release on Thursday. In addition, other Axel Springer media brands such as Bild, Bild am Sonntag, Die Welt, Welt am Sonntag, Auto Bild, Sport Bild, Computer Bild and Bild der Frau will also be available in the Swiss iKiosk in future. After a four-week introductory phase, users will be able to choose between quarterly and annual subscriptions. Subscribers to the print offerings published by Axel Springer Switzerland will receive access to the digital offerings as part of their existing subscription.
