Last but not least: a concentrated load of authenticity

At the end of June, the 18th International Trucker & Country Festival will take place in Interlaken. To win over the audience, the organizers have spared no effort this time around.

The outstanding new attraction this year will be the tipi village with large authentic tipi tents, including the famous tipi of Kleine Scheidegg (this will probably be this trade) and with "real Indians". The SDA news agency wanted to find out more and asked the organizers what the real Indians were all about. The event spokeswoman said that the group had been discovered by chance. According to her, the Indians have been touring Europe for a long time. "They wear original costumes and feather decorations, smoke pipes and play music every now and then." Certainly a fun little group.

As it is generally known nowadays that Indians are not all the same and that there is a Huge number of different strains some readers may be interested to know exactly what kind of indigenous people the festival attraction involves. However, the press spokeswoman was unable to answer this: "As far as I know, they come from different tribes, but that's all I know." It doesn't matter, what counts are the feathers, the pipe and the red skin. That should guarantee an authentic Wild West feeling at the festival.
