Relaunch: The Kloten City Gazette Becomes the Klotener Anzeiger
The Kloten town gazette is being redesigned and given a new title and layout with immediate effect. The aim of the relaunch is to make the somewhat outdated layout more readable and clearer.
The newspaper has been renamed the Klotener Anzeiger. According to the press release, publisher Kathrin Spross Rice's reason for the name change is that the local newspaper was rarely referred to by its correct and full name. In editorial terms, the paper will be divided more consistently into two parts, the press release continues. The first section contains politics, official news, local business and the special page "Wissen&Spielen". Society, culture, the agenda, the page for young people, local sport and, during the season, the special page "Flyers&Pucks" are placed in the second bundle.
Adliswil-based designer Ralf Turtschi from the company Agenturtschi was responsible for the new layout concept, while the company Unikat Kommunikationsagentur in Küsnacht was responsible for the new advertising presence - always in close cooperation with the Spross publishing house, the publisher of the newspaper, according to the press release.
The Klotener Anzeiger is a subscription newspaper and, according to its own information, one of the few independent local newspapers in the Zurich area. It is also the official publication organ of the city of Kloten. The Klotener Anzeiger is published every Thursday with a circulation of 3,200 copies, and once a month with a large circulation of 11,087 copies. The publishing house will next tackle the revision of the website and the cross-media expansion.
