7th Corporate Communications Award: The call for entries is open
The Corporate Communications Award will be presented for the 7th time in mid-September. Entries can now be submitted - including for the first time for the Social Media Award.
Experts from agencies, companies, administration or non-profit organizations can apply for the trophy until 31 July. They are looking for integrated communication concepts that are developed and implemented by July 2011 and link various communication disciplines. They should also appeal to different dialogue groups and be meaningfully integrated into the overall communication of an organization.
The second award is celebrating a premiere this year: for the first time, a concept with a focus on social media will be honored at the awards ceremony in mid-September. "We want to take account of the increasing importance of social media as part of corporate communications," says Roland Bieri, initiator and organizer of the Award-CC. For the "Social Media Award" category prize, campaigns are expected to be cross-media in structure and include at least three different media. At least two of these must be in the area of social media - for example Facebook, YouTube, mobile apps or blogs. You can now vote for your favorites on Facebook (www.facebook.com/awardcc).
Grayling Switzerland joins the industry partners as a new award sponsor this year. Grayling - represented in Switzerland with offices in Zurich and Geneva - is an independent public relations, public affairs, investor relations and event agency and is based on the merger of the Trimedia, Grayling and MMD brands. Beat W. Werder, Head of Corporate Communications at Publigroupe in Lausanne, also completes the jury of experts. A special jury Romande will be appointed for projects from French-speaking Switzerland. This ensures that projects from French-speaking Switzerland and their special features are appropriately recognized and evaluated, explains Bieri.
