SF: Daniel Hanimann moves to the National Bank
Daniel Hanimann, host of SF Börse and a member of the Tagesschau editorial board, is leaving Swiss Television (SF). He will begin a new position at the Swiss National Bank on October 1, 2011.
Daniel Hanimann will become delegate for economic contacts for the region of Northwestern Switzerland there. This was announced by Swiss radio and television SRF on Friday. The journalist began his career at SF in 1993 as editor of the Tagesschau and presenter of the Tagesschau am Mittag. He worked, among other things, as SF correspondent in Brussels and for the information program Rundschau. Since 2008, Hanimann has been head and presenter of SF Börse as well as head of economics at Tagesschau. He studied economics at the University of Basel.
