Last but not least: Independent pension provision - with Le Temps and Rentes Genevoises
Starting immediately, Le Temps is offering a section on its website dedicated to retirement planning. What raises some eyebrows, however, is an «exclusive and unprecedented partnership» with Rentes Genevoises.
For the first time, a section of Letemps.ch is reserved for a single partner in terms of visibility, the company said in a press release. Rentes Genevoises has full legitimacy for such an operation, as the company is a recognized player, the partnership is justified. The newspaper does not believe that its editorial independence is at risk: "As both partners are guided by the same strict standards in their respective fields, it goes without saying that the Le Temps editorial team will maintain its full independence and editorial autonomy when dealing with pension issues." The hope remains that the "exclusive and unprecedented partnership" will not break down any walls.
The corresponding section on the Letemps.ch website: on the right, a Rentes Genevoises logo and the words "in collaboration with" above it indicate the partnership.
