Framepool calls directors for short film competition
Framepool, the footage portal by and for filmmakers, is continuing its short film competition this year, which was launched in 2010. The «Framepool/LBB/Fire Flies Challenge» is open to directors from around the world who would like to present their work to an international jury and support a good cause in the process.
The theme of this year's competition is "Empathy/Compassion". Participants are asked to process their associations with the topic in a commercial or short film. Entries should be between 30 seconds and a maximum of three minutes long. They will be judged by a jury including Mark Tutsell (Leo Burnett), Jake Scott (RSA), Olivier Altman (Publicis), Steffen Gentis (BBDO Proximity), Ringan Ledwidge (Rattling Stick), Mike Clear (Mother), Wolf Jaiser and Sandy Watson Scott (The FireFlies). The deadline for entries is May 11, 2011 and the winners will be awarded on June 23 during the Cannes Lions Festival.
