SF: Nik Hartmann hosts TV show "Alpenrose 2011
Nik Hartmann will host the major folk music newcomer show «Alpenrose 2011» on SF 1 on April 16.
As the newspaper Sonntag writes in its current issue, seven godfathers - Carlo Brunner, Francine Jordi, Melanie Oesch, Monique Nicolas Senn, Polo Hofer and Toni Vescoli - will present their protégés in the show, whom they have selected from many suggestions and then coached until they are ready for the screen. The performers come from the categories of ländler, classic hits, choir & yodel, popular hits, instrumental hits, songwriters and evergreens. At the shot, the television audience can vote for the big winner. Hartmann is quoted in Sonntag as saying that he was attracted by the wide range of the "Alpenrose" program. He has a closeness to these music genres and he has a closeness to the audience that loves this music.
