Swiss Dialog Marketing Award 2011: 15 percent more entries than last year
The number of entries for the Swiss Dialog Marketing Award has increased in all categories. Overall, 15 percent more entries were submitted than last year. This means the competition for the coveted award is getting even tougher.
The increase in the number of entries is probably a sign that the years of restraint and tight budgets are over. We have an exciting year with many excellent entries in the competition, including for the three newly created categories, says Erik Neumann, who is responsible for the Swiss Dialog Marketing Prize on the SDV Executive Committee. Most entries were submitted in the offline categories and in the "International" category. However, the "Digital Dialogue Measures" category recorded the largest percentage increase, with twice as many entries as last year. Even though traditional mailings continue to play a central role in dialogue marketing, there is a clear trend towards digitalization, according to Christian Huldi, Chairman of the jury.
From February 22 to 24, 2011, all submitted works will be presented in a public exhibition at the Papiersaal Sihlcity in Zurich. All visitors are invited to vote for their favorite for the public prize. All other prize winners will be selected by a 21-member jury. The winners will be announced on May 27, 2011 at the Award Night at the Kongresshaus Zurich, when the motto will be "Get your metal".
