Swiss Star Award 2010 honors Sarogold packaging from Dachcom.ch
The new tear-off box for Saropack’s Sarogold cling film was awarded the 2010 Swiss Star Award by the Swiss Packaging Institute (SVI). Dachcom.ch designed and implemented the new packaging solution in collaboration with Saropack.
The newly developed, patented tear-off blade has a special serration. With its slightly V-shaped teeth, this guarantees flawless tearing. The regripping of the film has also been improved. Unrolling and tearing, which has always proved to be prone to faults with conventional films, is now trouble-free. A smooth film insert prevents the film from slipping back. Thanks to two small lateral guides, the roll can no longer jump out.
