Now it's getting tight with Drive in the market for golf stocks

This is the date that the two existing Swiss golf titles are dreading: on April 27, the publisher St.Galler Tagblatt launches the first issue of its new golf magazine

The circulation of initially around 10000 copies is to reach readers by subscription and via newsstands.
Back in December of last year, when WerbeWoche first reported on the new magazine project from eastern Switzerland, the dust was already rising. Both the publishers of Golf & Country and Golf Suisse lamented that there was not enough room for another golf magazine in either the audience or the advertising market. Both therefore feared a new cut-throat fight in the (still) small Swiss golf market.
The new drive is aimed at a broad audience. The experienced club player should feel addressed just as much as the beginner who is working towards course maturity at the public golf facility. Drive wants to report on what's happening in the international and national golf scene, but also focus on the rapid development here from an elite sport to a leisure activity accessible to everyone.
Last but not least, the Swiss golf clubs, which are extremely courted by the existing golf magazines, should also receive a lot of attention - combined with the hope, of course, of getting a foot in the door with this clientele, which is so important for success. (dse)
