Four angels now do power PR for Farner

The consulting team at Farner PR in Zurich has been strengthened. 44-year-old Rosmarie Widmer Gysel takes over from the previous head of finance and administration. On February 1, 2001, Barbla C. Schaerer (32), an economist, joins as Group Head and also becomes a member of the Executive Board. Schaerer was most recently a partner at F&Partner Communications AG. Since the end of 2000, Nanni Hürlimann (35) and Sandra Jost (30) have been actively building and expanding their consulting team as senior consultants. "The fact that so many women have joined us in one fell swoop is a coincidence," says Christian König, Farner PR's board delegate. "In general, though, women are ideally suited for leadership roles in communications," König says. An experience that he has made in the team, not least with Jacqueline Moeri, who remains in an unchanged position at Farner. (ba)
