Das Plakat 2000/2001The Kommunikationsverband Bayern BWF e. V. invites entries for the 18th International Competition "Das Plakat" 00/01. The jury, consisting of experts from advertising and industry, will select the best works that were posted in Germany, Austria or Switzerland in 2000 or 2001. The closing date for entries is June 22.
Océ calls for Best Poster AwardPrinter manufacturer Océ (Switzerland) invites entries for the third Best Poster Award. The competition is looking for personally designed posters (approx. 90 cm ¥ 120 cm) on the theme of "tomorrow's people". Design, print quality and creative implementation will be judged. The submitted works will be exhibited at Orbit in Basel in September, where the awards ceremony will also take place. Information and entry forms can be obtained from Tel. 01 829 13 13 or
