Job cuts at Blick and WeltwocheThe editorial team of the tabloid Blick is being reduced by 4.4 full-time positions. There will be four redundancies and one early retirement. This could save around one million francs. Even before the current move, jobs had already been saved by not replacing those who left. Savings are also being made at Weltwoche: costs at editorial level are to be reduced by ten to 15 percent, explained editor-in-chief Roger Köppel when asked by the AP news agency. Four jobs will be cut. Köppel did not say which departments were affected.
