Radio pools at the end?
Radio Pool's task force is looking for alternatives.
Radio Pool's task force is looking for alternatives The modules of One-Pool, the combination of Radios Z, Argovia, Top, Sunshine, Central, Grischa, Ri and 32, are giving rise to internal discussions. Grischa has the most problems. "We are satisfied nationally, but the eastern module simply doesn't work," says Hanspeter Lebrument, head of Grischa owner Gasser Holding. In Modul Ost, Grischa is linked to Ri, Central and Top. However, Roland Baumgartner, Argovia boss and pool spokesman, believes that the problems can be solved. And is already looking ahead: Not only modules, but also radio pools in general are up for discussion. "The longer they are used, the less important they become," he says. That is why a radio task force under the leadership of the Swiss Private Radio Association (VSP) is looking for alternatives to pools, which may already be presented at Radioday. (mk)
