Illies plans culture magazine

Magazines Florian Illies, author of two cult books on the subject of "Generation Golf" and former head of the "Berliner Seiten" at the Frankfurter Allgemeine Zeitung (FAZ), is planning a new magazine with the working title "Monopol", a "magazine for art and life" which, according to the Frankfurter Allgemeine Sonntagszeitung, will appear for the first time in spring 2004. The industry service Kress.de writes that Illies wants to "fill the genre of cultural reportage with fresh content". A bi-monthly publication with a circulation of around 30,000 copies is planned.
