The Internet moves into the children's room
Internet Statistics: More and more children and teenagers in Switzerland are becoming Internet users.
According to data from MMXI Switzerland, the number of two- to 17-year-olds on the Internet increased by 24 percent to 37,000 between January and September 2003. Although the up to eleven-year-olds are the smaller group (109,000), at 32 percent they grew more strongly than the older ones. According to a statement from MMXI marketer Publica Data, children and adults alike use the category "Search engines/portals & communities" the most.
