Sealed lips - loud message
Social Advertising Euro RSCG Switzerland has a long tradition of supporting Tibet. So, too, do the awards that Creative Director Frank Bodin has won for his ideas.
Social Advertising Euro RSCG Switzerland's commitment to Tibet has a long tradition. Now the agency has come up with a new motif on behalf of the Swiss-Tibetan Friendship Association: A red-colored staple in the middle of the youth magazine Word closes the lips of a Tibetan monk. This is intended to remind young readers that "Tibet's calls for freedom" are already being stifled in their throats. It remains to be seen whether Euro RSCG will win a Lion in Cannes with this idea. In any case, McCann-Erickson already proved in 2002 that the inconspicuous staples attract attention at the advertising Olympics: Her Generali ad with eight staples was awarded a silver medal in Cannes.
