Newspapers Charles von Graffenried and Fritz Schuhmacher, the chairmen of the boards of directors of Espace Media and Vogt-Schild, are negotiating a collaboration between the Berner Zeitung and Solothurner Zeitung (SZ), as René Rhinow, member of the board of directors of Vogt-Schild, confirmed to the SonntagsZeitung. However, it is still uncertain whether SZ will really leave the Mittelland Zeitung group. Schuhmacher sees a cooperation with Bern as the best solution for the SZ.
