Kodak becomes sole owner of KPG

AcquisitionThe Eastman Kodak Company announced in mid-January that it will become the sole owner of KPG through the acquisition of Sun Chemical Corporation's 50 percent stake in Kodak Polychrome Graphics (KPG), a joint venture founded in 1998. The transaction will increase Kodak's sales and earnings, expand the global distribution network for Kodak Graphic Communications Group's digital printing systems and broaden its solutions portfolio. Kodak expects this to strengthen its position in the graphic arts market.
