Ronald McDonald gets sporty

McDonald's has launched a new campaign designed to promote a healthy lifestyle among families and children.

Fast food McDonald's has launched a new campaign to promote a healthy lifestyle to families and children, including TV commercials, sponsorship from media and non-profit organizations and testimonials from athletes such as tennis stars Venus and Serena Williams and other celebrities. The TV commercials also include mascot Ronald McDonald, who now wears gym gear and climbs skyscrapers, for example. The spots were created by Leo Burnett Chicago and are to be adapted worldwide by local McDonald's regular agencies from the TBWA and DDB networks. The tagline will also be incorporated into the campaign, expanded to "It's what I eat and what I do ... I'm lovin' it".
